For those adults intersted in kicking a soccer ball around in a relaxed atmosphere, there is an informal pick-up soccer game played every Saturday afternoon at Suggs Park (summer 2006). Powell Rd Soccer Fields are closed for summer maintenance until further notice. The players gather around 6PM. The game starts soon thereafter and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Though this is not a Collierville Soccer Association (CSA) or town of Collierville sponsored or sanctioned event, many CSA members take part in this fun activity. Men and women of all ages are invited to play. Please stay off the fields at Powell for the summer to give them a chance to recover from the season.  

Players are asked to observe to following:

1. Please, no rough play, slide tackles or abusive language.
2. Children will occasionally play as well. Please use caution when they are present.
3. No Metal spikes or softball/baseball shoes.
4. Please bring a white and a dark-colored shirt so teams can be easily delineated.

Note: During the hours of Central Standard time (i.e. gets dark early), games begin at 5PM.
