 LOBOS Alumnus: Congrats to Brett Borm ('86 LOBOS) for helping Lambuth University go to the NAIA National Championship. Brett is a goalkeeper for Lambuth and trained under our own Coach Dave Thompson for several years while a LOBOS player. This past year, Brett was named the Association of Independent Institutions Athlete of the week twice and was named to the A.I.I. All-Tournament team. Lambuth won the A.I.I. Conterence Tournament in San Antonio, TX vs. #6 Simon Fraser (British Columbia) in a shootout in which he saved two penalties. Lambuth went to the NAIA National Championship for the first time and finished the season ranked #19 in the country with a 14-5-1 record. We are proud of our LOBOS Alumni!

CHS senior Emily Rothwell (defender) will sign with Bowling Green Univ. CHS senior Kendyl Wilson (defender) will sign with Univ. of TN - Martin. Briarcrest senior Kelsey LaBarreare, St. Agnes senior Carleigh Stratton, St. Benedict's Jennifer Hale, and GHS senior Lauren Froelich (forward) will sign with Christian Brothers Univ. Harding senior Jennee Kimball (midfield) signed with Tennessee Tech. Houston High seniors Sara Oeding (defender) will play for Austin Peay and Lauren Crowder is signing with Western Kentucky University. Congratulations!  Region III ODP Team: Congratulations to Olivia Harrison (94 Lady Lobos) for making the Region III Olympic Development Program Team. Olivia is one of only 4 girls at all age groups from the state of Tennessee, the only girl from West Tennessee and the first LOBO to ever make a Regional ODP team. The primary mission of the Region III ODP team is to identify elite level Region III players and facilitate their selection to the US National Team programs. Region III is made up of teams from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Texas and South Texas. This is a very prestigious selection and we are proud to have Olivia representing the LOBOS and the State of Tennessee on the Regional ODP team.

 "Best of the Preps": Fifteen Lady LOBOS were selected for the Commercial Appeal's "2008 Best of the Preps." Four of the five Finalist were also LOBOS players. For the D1- Public schools, Lady LOBOS players include Lauren Froelich ('91), Olivia Harrison ('94), Steffi King ('91) Taylor Morgan ('93), Ali Pleiman ('90), Emily Rothwell ('91), Alex Stradford ('94), Allison Tutt ('91), and Kendyl Wilson ('91). For the D2 - Private schools, Lady LOBOS players include Adeline Brown ('91), Jene'e Kimball ('91), Whitney Kramer ('91), Rebecca Nauman ('91), Abi Sanvee ('92), and Kelsey Wilson ('91).  State ODP teams: Jeremy Albright (97), Peter Wagner(97), Parker Martin (96), Michael Gary (96), and Stephen Cunnane (96) all made the boys '96 TN ODP. Paul Langford (95) made the '95 TN ODP team and Chase Chasteen (95) was selected for the '94 TN ODP team. In addition, Stephen Cunnane was one of the 18 players selected to represent Tennessee at the Texas Friendlies in February. On the Girl's side, Mallory Ashmore (96 Lady LOBOS) and Kylie Huey (97 Lady LOBOS) made the '96 girls ODP team. McKenzie Bricker, Brittany Correia, and Gretchen Harknett (all of the 95 Lady LOBOS) made the 95 TN ODP team. Allie Cumings, Olivia Harrison, and Alex Stradford (of the 94 Lady LOBOS) were selected for the 94 TN ODP team. Chelsea Rial and Taylor Simms, both of the 92 Lday LOBOS, made the 93 and 92 TN ODP teams respectively. Congratulations to all the players on their accomplishments!
