2007-2008 LOBOS COMMITTEE

 

Carter Tate, Chair

Carter is in his 6th year as a Committee Member, spending two years as Equipment Coordinator, one year as Vice Chair, and is in his third year as Chair. As Chair, he is responsible for the administration of the LOBOS/Cougars segment of CSA and represents the interests of the LOBOS Committee at CSA Executive Board Meetings. He also works in tandem with the rest of the committee to help develop programs and services for the betterment of the club. Carter's wife, Sandy, is team manager for the 94 LOBOS. Carter and Sandy have three children. Tricia plays for the 92 Lady LOBOS and is an ODP player; Neil plays for the 94 LOBOS; and Vann plays for the 98 LOBOS.


 

Scott Bricker, Vice Chair

Scott joined the Committee for the 2004-2005 term as Equipment Coordinator.  In his third year as Vice Chair, Scott is the official liaison between the Committee and the Team Managers.  He also works in tandem with the Chairman to help develop programs and services for the betterment of the club. Scott's daughter, Alex, plays for the 94 Lady LOBOS, and his daughter, McKenzie, plays for the 95 Lady LOBOS.


 

Brad Cumings, Secretary

Brad joined the Lobos committee in 2006 as the Equipment Coordinator and is in his first year as Secretary. He is responsible for leading the development and amendments to club by-laws, administering Lobos committee meeting agendas/minutes and preparation of correspondence from the Lobos committee. Brad and his family were active in recreational and competitive soccer in the Chicago area until 2003, when his family moved to Collierville. His daughter Allie is a member of the 1994 Lady Lobos-Blue team and is an ODP player. Brad's son Reid joined the club in the spring of 1996 and is a member of the 1998 Lobos -White.


 

Tom Albright, Treasurer

Tom is in his second year with the Committee.  As Treasurer, he is responsible for coordinating the annual budgeting process and the monthly reporting to the Committee. In addition, this position provides guidance to team treasurers relating to the management and reporting of team funds. Tom's wife, Judy, is team manager for the 97 LOBOS. Tom and Judy have four children. Lauren is with the 94 Lady LOBOS and Jeremy is with the 97 LOBOS. Both Lauren and Jeremy played in the CSA recreational prior to joining LOBOS. Shannon and Emily have participated in CSA's Munchkin Madness.


 

Rick Stanfill, Equipment Coordinator

Rick joins the Committee for the 2007-2008 term as Equipment Coordinator. Rick is responsible for securing bids for and procuring training equipment for the coaching staff as well as working with CSA and CPARD in assessing goal and net needs for our training fields. Rick is also the Committee contact for team managers who want to check out pop-up tents and LOBOS flags and is responsible for their care and upkeep.


 

Carter Harrison, Tournament Director

Carter continues as the tournament director for the 2007-2008 term.  Carter is responsible for the organization and execution of our Tournaments including scheduling, recruiting and event day management. Carter's daughter, Marlene, is an nine year veteran of the 90 Lady LOBOS while Olivia has been with the LOBOS for six years and is a member of the 93 Lady LOBOS squad.  His wife, Patty, coached CSA recreational soccer for three years and his son is a professional soccer referee.


 

Tavy Nell, Uniform Coordinator

Tavy joins the Committee for the 2007-2008 term as Uniform Coordinator.  She is responsible for coordinating the acquisition and ordering of player uniforms.


 

Laura Fay, LOBOS Webmaster and Publicity Coordinator

Laura continues in her position as Publicity Coordinator for the 2007-2008 term.  She is responsible for promoting the club.  Publicizing our May tryouts and tournaments are priority functions of this position. Laura is also in charge of working with the LOBOS & Lady LOBOS teams to announce their accomplishments in the local media. She also coordinates club publicity events such as the Christmas parade to showcase our organization.  Her son, Brian, plays for the 95 LOBOS, and her daughter, Sarah, plays for the 97 Lady LOBOS. Both children were previously involved with CSA recreational soccer for several years.


 

Anne Deranian, Cougars Coordinator

Anne hails from Dublin, Ireland and holds a USSF National D License and an E License in Ireland. She played college soccer with the Irish University team Colaiste Ide as a defender. She presently attends the University of Memphis . Anne has played club soccer in Ireland since she was 8 and is now the assistant coach for the 95 Lady Cougars.
