Mackenze Parma, a St. Agnes senior and 95 Lady LOBOS RUSH Blue forward, earned the Commercial Appeal's "Player of the Week" honor for the week of Sept. 24th. Parma, who excels both in attack and in defense for the Stars, had the game's only goal in a 1-0 win over Nashville Father Ryan and also hit the back of the net in a 4-0 victory over Hendersonville. Also Wed., the future Ole Miss player was honored as the National Player of the Week by the NSCAA for her efforts in St. Agnes' first two games of the year, in which she scored a whopping seven goals. Honeye Heydari, Mississippi State forward and former 94 Lady LOBOS player, continued her sizzling start to the season, scoring three of MSU’s six goals in a pair of 3-0 wins against UL-Monroe and Georgia State. She netted the game-winning goal in each contest as her three goals on the weekend came on just five on-goal chances.
