Beginning Fall 2016, CSA is creating a "Youth Coaching Academy" (YCA) program to provide training and part-time employment opportunities for players to stay involved in the game through coaching. YCA participants must attend mandatory initial training and will receive on the job training and mentoring from Club Directors and senior Lobos Rush Coaching staff. After initial training, participants can sign up for coaching shifts within our REC and Instructional REC player development programs, typically during weekend hours. General Requirements: Current High School Junior, Senior or recent graduate, previous playing experience and a recommendation from previous/current coach is a plus. Participants must pass a TSSA background check. Licensing Requirements: State F license or higher (available online in a FREE 2- hour course) and complete local, free in-house curriculum training sessions over the summer and pass post training field test. YCA participants will be chosen via an interview process where they must demonstrate the appropriate communication skills and desire to learn & coach. Once selected to the program, participants must attend all scheduled in house training before being added to the coaching pool. For more information, email Dave Simms, davesimms@colsoc.com To register your interest in participating in this program, click on
