2017 STRIKER vs. KEEPERS Camp

Players take more shots on goal here than at any other camp. We start by teaching the proper form/technique and build up to working on every area where scoring chances occur and cover all types of Shooting/Finishing situations.

The goalkeeper camp will employ modern training methods that are used throughout the US and Europe.  Campers will be challenged to refine his or her technique, and push themselves to reach a higher level of performance each time they step on the field.

Summer Camps - Collierville Soccer's "Next Step" Soccer Series

Collierville Soccer introduces the Next Step  Soccer Camp Series. Take the Next Step  on your soccer development by attending a Next Step  Soccer Camp. Throughout the summer, CSA will host two week-long soccer camps aimed at developing technical soccer skills and fostering a love of the beautiful game. The first three week-long camps will be held at Suggs Park in Collierville. Camps are available for all players (regardless of club affiliation) aged 4-14. The "Advanced" camp will be held in the final week in the series and is held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex. The "Advanced" camp will be limited to players age 7-14 and is geared towards more advanced player. The "Advanced" camp will be run in conjunction with the LOBOS RUSH competitive program pre-season camp (free of charge to LOBOS RUSH players) with close to 500 attendees and coaches from across the country.

Next Step
Summer Camp Series is the perfect environment for all soccer players. Whether new to recreational soccer or an elite competitive player, our courses are tailored to challenge players to achieve their goals. Multiple weeks are available, culminating in the "Advanced" Camp held at the prestigious Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

Week 1 (July 24 - 28) will be aimed at recreational and young competitive players looking to have a fun week of instruction and games. High energy coaches from around the area will make sure the kids have a blast while learning & perfecting new skills. Week 1 will take place at Suggs Park in Collierville.

Week 2 Advanced Training Camp (July 31 - Aug 4) is aimed at competitive level players wanting a week of high level instruction to prepare themselves for the fall season. Club & College coaches from across the region will be brought into town to run this intense week of training All sessions for Week 2 will be held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

The Next Step coaching staff consists of the finest players and coaches from across the USA (including Christian Brothers University and the University of Memphis) and around the world. Each year we have coaches from as far a field as England, Scotland, Ireland, Sweden, Argentina, and South Africa. So players get to experience the truly global game of soccer first hand.

The staff (led by Paul Furlong, Executive Director at the Collierville Soccer Association) understands that each player has different strengths and needs. We will work with each player to ensure he/she makes the next step in their soccer development.

CSA truly believe that enjoyment and development are not mutually exclusive. For players to develop their soccer skills, they much enjoy what they are being taught. Players will leave camp every day tired, but happy and eager to return. Simply put, "without enjoyment, there will be no development".
